Anyone who is a part of this website must abide by the following Rules:

ROLEPLAY RULES

No Godmodding: Godmodding is the act of trying to control things that are not in your power during RP. For example, do not assume your attack hits another player character. They have the opportunity to dodge during their post. On the other hand, since NPCs are generally controlled by a player character, if you're fighting an NPC, you can control whether they dodge or not. In general, just do not take control of other player characters.
PG-13: Digimon Tamer Central was created in order to provide a fun, friendly, and safe Role Playing space for anybody of any age. As such, try and keep the content of your posts to a PG-13 rating, which means: minimal profane language, no explicit sexual activity, no sex-related nudity. If your posts do not match these guid lines, you will be asked to change them.
Word Requirements: For a legitimate Role Playing post, please give it some girth. Look at it this way: If you can get your narrative across in a sentence or two, is the narrative substantial enough to deserve a full post? Try and find some way to flesh out your writing to at least a 5 sentences. Of course this is a loose requirement, so long as your writing is substantial enough to keep the Role Play deep and interesting, it's fine. Please note that many quests also have a listed word requirement in their description. This rule does not apply to Out of Character interaction.
3rd Person/Past Tense Requirement: It is required that you post in 3rd person, past tense when speaking out of character. For example, please post "Jimmy was walking home," instead of "I was walking home," or "Jimmy walks home." A more general of 3rd person explanation is: you should refer to your character as "they"/the word "they" should be able to be used in place of their name, as opposed to "you" or "I" for instance. For past tense, just imagine how you would talk about an event that happened yesterday, instead of something happening right now or something that will happen. This rule does not apply to OOC interaction.
Posting Order: Make sure you follow posting order. Everyone that is a part of the thread must post in a specific order unless otherwise noted. This means that everyone else must have the chance to post once before you make a second post. A special exception is granted either when a user hasn't posted in 24 hours, or when that player becomes otherwise unable to respond. In either of these circumstances, a player's turn can be skipped early.

THREAD TITLE RULES

The following thread categories regulate the people who can participate in a thread:

[Open]: Posts with this tag are open to anyone joining into the thread.
[Closed]: When an owner of a thread has decided that there are enough people in a thread, they can close it to any new participants.
[Private]: Only those previously told to do so may join in. If you weren't invited, don't come into the thread.

The following thread categories regulate the content of the thread:

[Social]: No official fighting is involved in this thread. This sort of thread can be Open, Closed, or Private.
[PvP]: Fighting is the main point of this thread. This implies that those who are in or join the thread are willing to roleplay fight other player characters. This sort of thread can be Open, Closed, or Private.
[Quest]: Threads with this tag means that the post is an official quest being undertaken by a player. In this case, it is implied that the thread is either closed or private.
[Event]: An Event thread is an official thread created or approved by mods and admins. Often times, event threads are applied for far in advance, and serve to move forward a site wide plot. In this case, it is implied that the thread is either closed or private.
